'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League comeback

Kane celebrates his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his desire in going back to the Premier League has lessened and he is willing to explore a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is presently two years through the four-year agreement he inked when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the transfer window of 2023.

The veteran forward has scored an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, playing a key role in them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which was the maiden significant honor of his illustrious career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England captain has now clarified that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he previously was, and would seriously consider prolonging his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different chances and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five competitions, reaching the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had eluded him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now thinks it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
